I BOUGHT A BOOK TODAY AT AN ESTATE SALE FOR 50 CENTS.
IT'S CONDITION MEANS I SHOULD RESELL IT FOR $75-$100.
Shew... I had to tell somebody. DH is asleep, so he can't do the happy dance with me.
It's a really awesome children's book from 1960. It's in very good condition, and the illustrations in it are really detailed and extravagant.
I'm in love with it, but not so much that I will keep it.
The people from whom we bought the book and many other things were talking about how we should come back tomorrow, because they were going to pull more boxed from the basement.
So... guess where we're going tomorrow!?
Also, we found a projector from the 50's, but it is missing a piece or two that we hope to find tomorrow.
Also, antique set of plates. DH talked the lady down to $6 for the set, and we will be able to resell them for like, $50.
Today was amazing.
I'm floored. Wait, being floored is a good thing, right?
Cause it could sound dirty.
Like, "DH floored me alllll night long!!"
Ok, bye.
Re: Trying not to brag is pointless.
It's a huge red book.
