Hey everyone! First of all, thanks for all the insight, advice, and general chit chat throughout my stay! If you haven't read this thread yet, make sure you're sitting down, it's a doozy! LOL. It's certainly one of a kind in terms of BFP threads haha. You'll see..... ANYWHO...
What we did: Well... we BD'd a TON. Thanks to the good ole OPK digital kit, I got a false positive, or my body geared to ovulate but didn't... so we went about 10 days straight. By the last 3 days we had to resort to Pre-Seed (holy amazing stuff batman) so perhaps that sealed the deal! lol I wasn't temping so I don't know when I O'd but for my usual 28 day cycles we BD'd every day from cycle day 7 to day 16. (I got my last positive OPK on cycle day 13.
Symptoms: Too hard to tell. I've been going to a lot of birthday parties and BBQs, so my usually healthy diet has gone down the tubes.. so when I don't quite feel right, I assume it's the entire bowl of french onion dip I might have consumed all by myself..... lol.
How I Told DH: Thanks to the iffy weather, DH came home from fishing much earlier than I thought. I wanted to do something creative.... I have tiny white sticky labels and I wrote real small on one of them "We're pregnant!" and put it on my belly. At first he looked at it... then stared at it... told me I have something stuck to my shirt.... I acted oblivious... then he realized what it said and started leaping for joy! haha it was hilarious! (side note: he read this thread and wants the public to know, according to him, he was not passed the f*ck out... he was too tired because he danced so much..... lol. riiiiiiight).

So you know how the saying goes..... drink til it's pink. I've been a proponent of that... however I haven't had many opportunities to do so. That being said, today we went to a wedding and I certainly took advantage of that. Since this is my 2ww I tested this AM just in case. BFN. I'm not sure when I ovulated. (if you remember from my previous posts with my gripe with the digital OPK kit....) But I am 6 days away from AF.
On a random whim.... and a slight POAS additiction.... I tested again tonight. A line is a line right?? Here I am with a pretty decent buzz..... trying to make sense of this picture. Am I seeing things?? This isn't even FMU. I took 2 tests. So I figured, since DH is LITERALLY passed the f*ck out from his open bar experience, I'd seek out your advice. Is this the champagne talking... or is there really a line.....
If so... I shouldn't be freaking out because I drank prior to a BFP right?

It looks like a line to me. Test tomorrow with fmu and if it's darker.
As for the drinks? You're fine.

This. Not sure why everyone seems to be making a big deal about this. Most people on the board are drink till it's pink, and that includes the occasional drunken night at a wedding. OP I see a line, congrats!!

such an over used GIF. Can I please see one I haven't? You are a waste of my time. Yeah I say Im "buzzed" too when Im tripping over drunk, but hey you were only "buzzed" but couldn't see your oh so obvious lines and DH was passed out drunk so you asked us, Well hun I just answered.

DH rallied at 5am and got up and out bc he wouldn't dare ever miss a pre-planned fishing trip haha. So I won't be seeing him til late tonight.
Tested again this morning and it's still super faint but I think it's still super early. I'm gonna hafta buy a digi, plus if I wanna show DH the results, he won't know what he's looking at if I show him a wondfo lol

Mothers and fetuses never share a blood supply. That isn't the issue with alcohol use during pregnancy. But I wouldn't worry about it, OP.

You won't ever share blood supply with LO, because you can have different blood type than baby and negative blood type will attack positive. They will give you a shot for "just in case", but you are never suppose to share blood with LO.
Again it's not about drink till its pink, at all. Even if I had a pretty decent buzz I think I would be able to see that line. Its just how that whole post came across that irked me, and made me side-eye it. I wasn't the only one that thought it was annoying, agree to disagree.
