Challenge Accepted-DD's shoes AW

I've been MIA lately because I've been going through some gross emotional stuff and feeling really down about my job and finances. But I had a job interview today, I've lost 17.8 lbs since spring, and DH's student loan check will be arriving soon, so things are leveling out and I'm feeling better.

DD put on her own shoes the other day and was so proud she let me take a picture:

Looks like I've got a real girlie girl on my hands!

Nice to see you around again! I'm sorry that you've been feeling down, money definitely has a big sway on the way I feel too, as much as I hate to admit it.

She is way too cute! What a big girl for putting her own shoes on. Also, I love that her pants are falling down in the second picture, it's too cute. lol

Ahh, your DD is sooo cute! I love both pics! C loves to wear my shoes too and pick them out for me. This morning, he picked out eight different ones and I'm wearing them all, because that's just how much I love my son. J/k! (About the shoes, not the love Wink )

Here's another adorable shoe story lrn327 reminded me of. Last night DD wanted to go outside I told no because she wasn't wearing any shoes. She started to cry and when she saw i wasn't giving in she marched over to her shoes picked up and armful (like 3 pairs) and dumped them in my lap. She then climbed on my lap and started putting the shoes in my hand so that I had to put them on her feet.

And yes, we ended up going outside for 30 minutes. You can't fight that.
