i hate to admit it but I judge all the time. i am trying to learn to keep my judgements to a minimum but this is too fun!
i judge people who use cart covers in the grocery store. yes, yes I do.
'Cause you like your kid to less secure and touch other people's filth?
(I'm totally not a germaphobe, I just can't see what is judge worthy about a shopping cart cover)
rofl! i'll be in the corner with you lol
Im a germaphobe too so sorry but I judge moms who let there kids touch everything in sight and don't use covers or sanitizers.
I also judge my friend who devotes her every waking breath and attention to her 2 year old daughter. She refuses to talk more than a couple mins on the phone because she feels like she's ignoring her. Also if we go out for lunch it is impossible to hold a conversation because she will stop the conversation if her daughter makes a peep. I think while it may not matter right now but I think she is raising a kid who will be incapable of playing on her own and needs to be entertained at all times.
I also judge my other friend who lets her 6 year old interrupt adult conversation constantly. There is something called "excuse me", use it.
well, i do actually wipe it down before she gets in. I do think carts are pretty gross, but wiping it off with sanitizer is more convenient for me than carrying the cover. but in my saying that i wasn't trying to be mean, I was just following the suit of the post
and about your friend who hovers over her kid, that is too bad because you're right she probably won't be able to self entertain... I know quite a few older kids like that and the parents say it's cuz they were constantly in their faces. I love my baby and I love to play with her, but i do leave her alone to play while i do dishes, am online or cooking etc and i really do think it's good for them
I hope I didn't come across snarky, that wasn't my intention. I'm sure the sanitizer wipes are more then sufficient but I just get freaked out in public about stranger germs. I have anxiety thinking about the day that ds wants to go into a ballpit but I know I have to let him do it. I'll just be crying in the corner, hugging my knees and rocking
I judge parents who dish out parenting advice all the time like it's the only way to do things. Sure, maybe your baby is able to go to sleep as soon as they hit the crib, but for the rest of us it isn't that easy. Also, unsolicited advice is like they're assuming I don't know what I'm doing and telling me what I'm doing wrong. It makes me want to speak up when I see their kids doing something I disagree with, but that's just giving them permission to give me more advice.
