My pharmacy only gave me one applicator for the progesterone sups, and you're not supposed to use those things over and over again. So, I've been using my finger to get it where it needs to go. Am I putting myself at risk of infection by doing this? Of course I'm washing my hands like a surgeon both before and after doing it. But it just occurred to me that maybe only sterile things should be going up there right now.
ETA: I just realized that if I had intercourse right now, that would be far from sterile, so a clean finger is nothing! I guess I just outed myself that I haven't DTD since the FW!

Finger. It's gross, but I do wash my hands before and after each time. I didn't feel like the tablet sat in the applicator very well, and I could easily see myself dropping it on the floor and wasting valuable medicine.

Me too!
I do this too! They work like a charm. My RE did say that the applicator can cause spotting though, I guess baccuse of how high up it gets the pills.
