I'm curious also. All of a sudden one day our mod changed from Emily to Alicia.. I don't know how/why that happened.

It's all my fault...I did not know any of this info before. I emailed BK and told her that I was going to take a break for bit. Alicia said she would take over, so I told BK that. Big mistake and I apologize.

I agree with what others have said about the bullying. I really enjoyed the June board back before Christmas, but then around New Year's it totally changed. It became much more unfriendly, and I found myself wary of posting. I also never joined the FB group. It didn't seem like my cup of tea. In fact, I started to post a lot more and enjoy the June board more after the board split between TB and FB.

Agree completely. My due date was June 3 so I was practically on the board from day 1. Had such a great time until AlisonMarie and her sidekick (turned moderator...!?!) ruined it. Quit checking in with the board around the beginning of my third tri.

Also thrilled I didn't join the FB group even though the board took a major hit from it and those two had a "join the group or get bent"" attitude.

That is what a lot of people that stuck around thought. It was FB vs TB and it turned really quiet. And if someone voiced that fact, the people causing the trouble would show up again and make problems. It was actually nice and quiet and although a lot of the people I liked reading about were gone some really nice people stuck around.

I'm not thrilled about the mod choice either. The day I saw that change I thought REALLY? She didn't even post over here (except on UO or FFFC when provoked or promote how awesome FB was) but now that this whole thing melted down she's over here acting like nothing happened. Sorry, I don't care to read about anything in your life when you made such stupid choices. I'm pretty sure other people would agree about that. Emily, please don't feel bad. You had no idea what would have come from that.

Since it was on FB, we knew his name, their last name, and which state they live in, so it was pretty easy to find him on the registry. A couple of the other members found a newspaper article that discussed him getting busted for breaking and entering, and then busted for child pornography after a bunch of computers were seized from his apartment. The pornography found was of children between the ages of 2 and 13. I guess the explanation from her husband is that the porn was already on the computer when he stole it or something to that effect. However, at the end of the article, it states he was dishonorably discharged from the army reserves and spent 8 months in jail for possession of child pornography in 2001 (7 years prior to the B&E). The explanation for THAT from Allison is the newspaper article is lying, he never served in the army.

None of us are buying it. Oh, except for Alicia.

We do both have issues with depression. Well, I'm Bipolar and not taking my medication while I'm pregnant, so that's an issue that we try to work around. Money concerns are weighing heavily on us both at the moment and I know he's depressed about his weight. I can't get the man to go to the doctor. He doesn't have health insurance so he uses that as his excuse. I don't think he has sleep apnea (although that is just my layman's opinion). I'd like him to get it checked out but he won't. Also, I know he's depressed but he refuses medication on that as well. A few months ago I noticed he had started sleeping with a light on. I teased him a bit about it, and he opened up to me for the first time about his time in the Army and some of the things he had to do on some of his deployments. He says sometimes he has a hard time getting to sleep at night when the light is off because he can see the faces of all the dead people he saw (and yes...he had to kill a few people himself...yikes...how did I not know any of this for over 6 years!?). He is VERY tight lipped about his time in the Army, but I know he's got some PTSD going on, but again, he won't even speak about seeing a doctor about it. God help me if he has low testosterone...I don't even want to think of what his libido would be like if he had MORE testosterone... Stick out tongue

He says he's going to work on the weight issue starting when we get home (which will be today, so we'll see pretty soon if he's serious this time). We're both doing the no eating out thing for the 40 days of Lent, so that will also help.As far as talking to him about it...I've tried. We've gone around and around on this SO much that the second I bring it up he just gets defensive about it. We used to be able to discuss it calmly. We'd come to an agreement and decide things would change and then they wouldn't. Each subsequent time it has been more and more difficult to have a rational discussion about it. Maybe some PP's that mentioned our differing sleep schedules are right. I can see where there could be a benefit there, but dang...I just don't think a grown up adult should be laying around in bed until noon every day of the week (unless they work 2nd shift or something similar). Also, I agree with the PP that said work outside the home would be a good idea. I know he should be working outside the home, but again...he resists. Gah!!! Stubborn @ss men!!!

Wow...I've been away from the June board and over at 0-3 babies. And am shocked to see all of what went down here...

My only question is to Alicia...Since you and Allison are such good friends, would you trust her to babysit your LO at her house? If the answer is no, then you can see why the June Moms are all upset...If your answer is, yes...you have much deeper issues.

I never even got so far on the board to even know she was getting donations, but I'm pretty sure my first thought wouldn't have been "yeah, let me send my hard earned dollars to Miss Pleasantry". We donated because at the time, it seemed like everything was just snowballing for her. One thing after another was going wrong. Had she just been some random b!tch, I would not have sent her a penny. But it was a woman carrying 2 precious babies. They (so they say) couldn't pay their bills, couldn't buy food, etc. No matter how much of a B someone is, the unborn children shouldn't have to suffer.

In the days and weeks leading up to all of this coming to light, her sob story started to get worse. Every single day something absolutely horrible happened to her and her babies were giving her such a hard time. Yet, she had time to sit on FB ALL DAY LONG and comment on EVERYTHING that anyone she "liked" posted. It all started getting really annoying and then the bomb dropped and no one believes anything she has to say anymore. I don't think that most of the awful things she was going through were true at all.

Pretty much this. I personally did not like her when we were all on TB. I thought she was a huge B and I could never understand why she had a following. I didn't post much here because of her and her little minion.

Then I went over to FB and all I saw from her were sob stories. Ohh we have no money... my house is disgusting and I'm on bedrest and my husband doesn't know how to clean... my husband can't get a job (now we know why!)... I'm so stressed... blah blah blah. I relay all this now in a "wow, what a whiny cvvnt" tone, but at the time, I felt REALLY bad for her. All I saw was this poor woman, pregnant with twins and on bedrest, struggling to not go into preterm labor and stressed to the max. I actually started to feel guilty for previously thinking she was a big B.

Funnily enough, I think towards the end she was fishing for another donation drive. Every single day, sometimes multiple times a day, she had some new tragedy to lay on us.

I never even got so far on the board to even know she was getting donations, but I'm pretty sure my first thought wouldn't have been "yeah, let me send my hard earned dollars to Miss Pleasantry". Y'all are good people with big hearts!!

We donated because at the time, it seemed like everything was just snowballing for her. One thing after another was going wrong. Had she just been some random b!tch, I would not have sent her a penny. But it was a woman carrying 2 precious babies. They (so they say) couldn't pay their bills, couldn't buy food, etc. No matter how much of a B someone is, the unborn children shouldn't have to suffer.

In the days and weeks leading up to all of this coming to light, her sob story started to get worse. Every single day something absolutely horrible happened to her and her babies were giving her such a hard time. Yet, she had time to sit on FB ALL DAY LONG and comment on EVERYTHING that anyone she "liked" posted. It all started getting really annoying and then the bomb dropped and no one believes anything she has to say anymore. I don't think that most of the awful things she was going through were true at all.

Then I went over to FB and all I saw from her were sob stories. Ohh we have no money... my house is disgusting and I'm on bedrest and my husband doesn't know how to clean... my husband can't get a job (now we know why!)... I'm so stressed... blah blah blah. I relay all this now in a "wow, what a whiny cvvnt" tone, but at the time, I felt REALLY bad for her. All I saw was this poor woman, pregnant with twins and on bedrest, struggling to not go into preterm labor and stressed to the max. I actually started to feel guilty for previously thinking she was a big B.

Funnily enough, I think towards the end she was fishing for another donation drive. Every single day, sometimes multiple times a day, she had some new tragedy to lay on us.

First she got MRSA, Then She pulled something in her knee and needed surgery, and She couldn't find a job except one that pays $8/hr doing manual labor, then Her PEDO husband got denied a job a friggen Homedepot, oh and don't forget the new van that needed $1500 worth of work!! BLAH BLAH BLAH Liar liar pants on F*cking Fire!

I agree with what others have said about the bullying. I really enjoyed the June board back before Christmas, but then around New Year's it totally changed. It became much more unfriendly, and I found myself wary of posting. I also never joined the FB group. It didn't seem like my cup of tea. In fact, I started to post a lot more and enjoy the June board more after the board split between TB and FB.

Agree completely. My due date was June 3 so I was practically on the board from day 1. Had such a great time until AlisonMarie and her sidekick (turned moderator...!?!) ruined it. Quit checking in with the board around the beginning of my third tri.

Also thrilled I didn't join the FB group even though the board took a major hit from it and those two had a "join the group or get bent"" attitude.

That is what a lot of people that stuck around thought. It was FB vs TB and it turned really quiet. And if someone voiced that fact, the people causing the trouble would show up again and make problems. It was actually nice and quiet and although a lot of the people I liked reading about were gone some really nice people stuck around.

I'm not thrilled about the mod choice either. The day I saw that change I thought REALLY? She didn't even post over here (except on UO or FFFC when provoked or promote how awesome FB was) but now that this whole thing melted down she's over here acting like nothing happened. Sorry, I don't care to read about anything in your life when you made such stupid choices. I'm pretty sure other people would agree about that. Emily, please don't feel bad. You had no idea what would have come from that.

I didn't join the FB group in large part because I disliked the bullying culture she brought to the board (and Alicia backed her up on at times) and I knew I wouldn't feel comfortable posting a lot of stuff out of fear that she'd attack me. I'm glad I didn't join- I have such a soft heart that I know I would've been suckered/conned into donating, and we really don't have a lot extra lying around with the baby now. I am so sorry for all you ladies who were conned by Allison and Alicia into donating your hard earned money. If either of them has a conscience they should be offering to return the money since Allison lied by omission about why they were broke (hubby can't find a job because he is a CONVICTED SEX OFFENDER is pretty hugely different from just having lots of bad luck).
