Just wanted to let you know in advance in case I really do get a new one. If I have to lose all my posts then I'm not gonna do it.

I emailed her with one suggestion and I don't know if that's all it takes and that she will just give it to me? I would have loved suggestions though! Damn. My idea isn't that awesome.

BK won't change your username anymore. She used to only change them if they contain personal information (ex: first and last name in sn), but now she won't even do that. If you want a new user name you are going to have to create a new account and you will lose your post count. Just an FYI!

I know its possible, I just thought they stopped doing it a few months back because everyone wanted to change their name after the whole fb debacle.

lol, I think it has something to do with when they tried to implement the board changes a couple of months ago, not sure though.

Well that could be true. I'll be interested to see what her response to Ashley's email says. All I know is she told the mods on 7/25 that they would no longer be able to change SNs. But then again, they also used to say you couldn't keep your post count if you had them change your SN which we all know is completely untrue.

I tried to change mine a few weeks ago. It changed what I type when I log in, but not what shows on the boards. She claimed it was a glitch. I just got a whole new name and lost my count so my first and last name weren't my screen name anymore

What did I miss! Why are you changing your screen name? And oh, its not a myth. When I started on the bump with this pregnancy, I was ponderingbride way back from 2002 when I got married. I emailed and asked for a change and they did it. No loss of post count.

ETA: just read what Kellbelle said. I didnt know that they changed the rules. I was able to change mine, but it was last year.
