Pregnancy test cp

So my DH and I were packing and I came across a ziplock bag full of positive pregnancy tests (9 to be exact... Apparently I didn't believe it the first 8 times!!) that I had saved from my bfp with J. He thought it was super weird that I had saved them and gross. I am curious... Did anyone else save their positive tests from their Dec 2011 baby? [Poll]

LOL i took a bunch too (the first response was negative a few days earlier then i retook 2 days later & it was positive) when i went to the dr, there test was negative b/c they said it's not as sensitive as the first response.

i didn't keep them though!

I didn't save the test but took a photo. I only took 1 test.

I saved them for a few days, a week or so maybe. Then I took a picture with them all lined up and threw them out.

The picture is in his baby book, is that weird?

I also took several. I saved them for quite a while, but right before J was born and I was in my nesting mode I was cleaning and threw them away. I had also taken pictures of a positive digital test so I felt that was enough to preserve the memory, instead of keeping the actual sticks I peed on.

I don't think it's weird at all. I am thinking that I am going to do that as well and throw the tests out. I told my DH its not like I saved them for my DS, it was just for myself. Weird... maybe, but at the time I was so excited that I couldn't think about throwing them out.

I kept them for quite a while. I took 4...the digital one I threw away after a few days because the battery or whatever died. I just recently threw the others out (just a week ago!) as I was cleaning the bathroom. They had migrated to the back of a drawer.

I have plenty of pictures though!!

I didn't save them but I took a picture of the two of them. One of the digital and one of the regular kind.

With DD I saved them for a week or so, long enough for DH to see them in person (he was out of town when I got my BFP). I took a picture and still have that.

With this pregnancy, well, I POAS again this morning and I'm pretty sure it's still sitting on the bathroom counter! Embarrassed

I'm pretty sure I have a picture of mine somewhere...I don't think I'll include it in her baby photos though. Hmm, not sure. Or maybe I will.

I didn't save the pg tests with lo bc all of them were negative. I had to have a blood test done and found out we were 7 weeks VIA u/s after the bloodtest, but even after the bloodtest and ultrasound, I never got a positive test. I kept taking them so I could save one, like I did with ds1, but I never got a positive to keep!

I also took a ton of tests, just to make sure I guess! I had a bunch of internet cheapies so for the first couple of weeks I tested every once in awhile, very strange.

I never saved my tests but I did take pictures on my phone.

I saved them for myself (I took 4 because DH was in disbelief). They're in a ziplock in my nightstand. They represent the moment I knew of his presence and the biggest turning point in my life. I can't part with them...dead batteries or not!!

I've still got mine. They are in a ziplock baggie in the very back of a drawer in the bathroom. I just haven't been able to part with them yet.

I did not keep them from Dec 2011 baby, but the 2 I took this time around I did for some reason. I wish I would have taken a picture to put in the baby book like previous posts said!

They were digital so they died after a day or two and got thrown away. Not really fun to keep if they don't say pregnant anymore.

i took soooo many test when we were trying to conceive, and last year in march (obviously) took a clear blue digital one and within a minute it said positive, i didn't save mine, but i kept in on my computer desk for 24 hours (thats how long it shows the result) i threw it out after it faded lol

We had a digital. DH took a picture of it saying pregnant. He actually kept it. The battery is dead now but he keeps it in his medicine cabinet. I think its sweet.

I took three tests and saved one of the digitals and one of the "two lines" tests. Though, I only saved them until I was out of the first trimester. Up until that point I used them as a reminder that I was in fact pregnant and that I didn't need to keep testing for it... even if I couldn't believe it. haha

I tossed them. I figure the baby is a good enough souvenir of the pregnancy. Wink
