Here we go again--Hospital Visit Round 2

Well I just came home from yet another hospital visit. I have developed a placental abrubption and started having contractions. Everything seems to have resolved a this point but to be on the safe side I have started the beta-methazone shots to help develop baby Dominic's lungs in case he decides to be here early which it's looking more and more each day that he will have to be here early due to all the complications.
Everyday I'm thankful for one more day for him to develop but it's hard not to be upset and scared. The good news is that I have had 3 ultrasounds in the last 4 days and got to see my little one again which I never tire of.
I wish we could just fast forward about 8-10 weeks

Oh no, so sorry to hear you are going through this. Try to take it easy as much as possible and I hope the rest of your pregnancy is uneventful!
Thanks ladies! I'm trying to stay calm and not worry, but it's hard not to given the events of the last 6 weeks.
Since I was just in the hospital a month ago for the DVT they are trying to avoid bed-rest as it can cause issues with the clot. Seeing as how the clot was almost 18 inches long and my body hasn't absorbed it yet--just being in the hospital for the 3 days I was there caused significant swelling in the leg with the clot.
It's all a very complicated situation but I have decided to ask to be permanently transferred to be in the care of the perinatalogist who saw me before. I love my OB but I live in such a small town that I'd rather make the hour drive to the bigger hospital in the bigger town that's more equipped to handle a serious situation than be in the small town hospital that I was in this time around. I'm still under the peri's care for the DVT but had not planned on having them do my c-section. However, after seeing this smaller hospital that I was originally supposed to have the baby at, I'm just not comfortable at all now that they are equipped to handle my particular situation.

You are doing a great job as a Mama already, listening to your body and making sure you have the best care available for you and your son.
You and Baby Dominic (great name!) will be in my thoughts and prayers. Hang in there.
