he was supposed to wear a duck print onesie but it was huge on him (he was only 4lbs 2oz!) so he ended up in a plain white onesie with a blanket on him. I had the hospital's long sleeved shirt on him but we got yelled at for trying to take it.
The only thing that "fit" was a new born Carter's "little sister" onesie. The matching pants were HUGE and the matching hat was cute. All the dresses...worthless. They looked like a sack on her. 0-3 months is a joke!
Emily came home in a "Little Sister" onesie that did have special meaning: Her big brother Benjamin picked it out for her months earlier at Kohls, and had been dying to see her in it ever since!
Ohh! I can still play even though my outfit has been buried in my hospital bag for about 5 weeks
1) All the pics you guys have posted have melted my BUTTAH! So much sweetness!
2) The outfit I have packed for Jackson: light blue onesie, white long sleeve snap up shirt thing w/ a blue elephant on it, blue and white striped pants. Can't wait to see him in it!!!
My DD came home in a green dress with purple flowers. It was actually a hand-me-down from a friend, but it ended up being my favorite newborn sized outfit. Plus, I loved that it wasn't pink. DD wears pink, but I made an effort to make sure she has lots of colors in her wardrobe.
Mommy to N (3), J (2), and C (10 months). LO4 is due in mid-September.
A little pink ruffled cotton dress with white polka dots, and white bloomers that were way too big on her. I had packed a flower headband for her to wear, but it was too big to stay on her head so it had to be nixed. I was sad about it.
We put Kellen in a little fox print outfit with and adorable fox hat! I just love foxes and we have a Basenji (breed of dog) which looks likie a fox so my DH likes them too!
LO was just in a green-striped Chaps romper and all strapped in/ready to go..until he vomited all over it! Then we just changed him into a simple onesie...nothing too spectacular!
She wore a yellow dress with a butterfly on it. We picked it because it was a gift my husband was able to go home and wash before we left the hospital. Being Team Green we didn't have any girl clothes before she was born, and I wanted to put her in something girlie to go home in.
She wore a pink sleeper that had little ladybugs all over it and ladybug feet. I had put a couple of girl outfits and a couple of boy outfits in our bag (we were team green) and DH decided on that one once he knew it was a girl. It is an outfit that DD1 wore and is the smallest sleeper we own.
Re: Tuesday Question of the Day 8/7/12
Connor came home in a black and red striped onesie. We really didn't pick an outfit out because we were discharged at midnight.
I hold on so hard and pray that I won't say something wrong. I look at the stars and dream that the universe was ours.

We put her in a NB sized white onsie with a pink plaid jumper and matching hair bow. She looked adorable.
