I figured I'd put labels on the inside of the drawers so if I asked someone to grab something they'd know where the right sizes/items were. Anyone else do this? How would you label and divide everything? Just by sizes or would you do sections for onsies/bottoms/sleepers/ect.
I'm trying to be super organized, but I'm not that organized so I don't know exactly what to do.
Re: Are you labeling your dresser drawers?
ditto!
Don't label!
DD's dresser has 9 drawers - only 2 of them have the same types of things in them now that they did when she was born (towels/washcloths and crib sheets). Every other drawer has changed a bunch of times depending on what we have more of, what season it is, etc.
Not labeling either. I have just have it organized by type of clothing (ie. Onsies, pants,)
i wouldnt label them, just say "top left drawer"
fortunately for us, we have a large room with 2 dressers and 2 of those plastic drawer things in the closet. So what I did was:
dresser 1: Has 4 large drawers..top drawer is NB clothes that they will wear right away. I have the clothes sorted by like sleepers, onesies, sleep sacks, etc. 2nd drawer: 0-3 months, 3rd drawer:3-6 months, 4th drawer: all clothes bigger than 6 months.
dresser 2: has 2 small drawers, 1 large drawer, and a cabinet on the bottom. The cabinet has blankets, sorted by type. the large drawer and small drawers have misc things i didn't know where to put (like those blankets they lay on and play with when they are older)
plastic drawers in closet..there are 6.
1.) wash clothes and towels
2.) socks
3.) bibs
4.) teethers/rattles, etc
5.) crib sheets
6.) burp rags
SO everything is organized, but nothing is labeled. it will be easy to just direct people where stuff is if they need to grab it for you.
