Leaky diapers

We are having an issue with my daughter's diapers leaking. Ever since she found her feet, pee is constantly leaking up and out the back of the diaper. We've tried Pampers Swaddlers and Pampers Baby Dry. I'm really putting those suckers on tight! Anyone else had is issue? Any diaper recommendations?

I think you have to try out a couple different ones until you find one that fits dd's body type. We loved pampers as NB diapers but after that they just did not fit my dd right. Now we are using target up & up without many problems. Daycare said especially for BM babies they all leak some, but if you can find one that fits their body then you have less leaks. We also have the worst problems when it is time to change diaper size. When they are at the top end of the weight for the diaper they leak more, also for the low end - so there are a few weeks there it is hard to have a good fit.

I normally use the pampers swaddlers, but was VERY surprised to find the Walgreen brand were really great! You can normally find them on a good sale, I would recommend those. I liked them much more then huggies, luvs, and the target brand.

If you haven't had issues in the past, it might be time to move up a size. Even if she's nowhere near the weight limit, she might be ready. DS moved up in sizes very quickly- size 5 by 16 months. He was late to potty train and still fits in a size 5 and he turns 4 at the end of the month. (We've had poop issues, but that's a whole different story).

As for brands, I've also heard good things about Target's brand too if you're trying to switch brands. If you are trying different brands, get the smallest package possible until you know it is going to work.

This is what I was going to recommend! We were in Orlando on vacation recently and had to make a quick stop to walgreens for diapers. They wanted $5 more for what we normally pay for pampers, so walgreens brand it was, and i LOVED them! They were pretty high in the back and still lots of room in the front. I'm still a pampers girl but would def turn to these if I had to.

I was a sworn pampers girl until my daughter started sleeping on her belly and it would leak up the front overnight. I switched to target brand and LOVE LOVE LOVE them.

Thanks everyone for the advice. At 13 lbs she is pretty squarely in the middle of size 1. We have some other things to pick up at target today so I am going to give there brand a shot first. Thanks again!

We started using size 2 by the time she was 13lbs (shes 15lbs now). Maybe give the 2s a try.
