so I figure that we are getting close to D-Day (Delivery Day)...so what is your secret desire for when it comes?
A friend of mine just had a baby in May and she posted a picture of a box of Dunkin Donuts that someone brought to her in the hospital. I want someone to bring me Dunkin Donuts after I have LO. I think that would be the BEST "Push Present" ever!

Assuming the weather has cooled down by the end of Sept, I want a huge glass of malbec.
If it is still a billion degrees, someone better show up with a margarita.

My brother brought me a pizza. It really was the best "gift" anyone brought to the hospital.
I hope DS is excited to meet the baby and doesn't just ignore him completely.
My secret desire is that someone brings me an edible arrangement in the hospital. I swear, their fruit is the best ever! If not, I would settle for some chips, salsa and a margarita!!! lol
I want buffalo wild wings. Extra hot. Let DH handle baby for a few hours while I stuff my face in hot sauce. YUM.
My birthing center also posts pics and announcements when a baby is born, usually with some comment about how the mother did in labor. I think my secret desire is to get an awesome comment about how awesome I was. That's a healthy motivator, right?

Make this a Sam Adams Oktoberfest and count me in! I'm not even sure it will be out by then but I can't wait.
A margarita would be a great backup!
Donuts sound amazing! I could go for some Krispy Kremes...don't think we have any Dunkin Donuts left in my area
No secrets here. But I'm pretty sure DH will bring me an overpriced delicious edible arrangement with the chocolate strawberries and pineapples and bananas. I'm excited already.
Also, this baby is a middle-of-the-night thing, then I plan on tons of Wendy's chicken nuggets. Gross, sure, but "eat great even late" is the plan. haha.

Ohhh someone mentioned Sam Adams "October ale"? I would be happy with that.
DS1 has fun and doesn't cry for me while I'm in the hospital.
And edible - HOT DOGS!! From my favorite home town spot. One with extra yellow mustard and onions, the other with extra yellow mustard and sauerkraut. I don't even care if they are cold by the time they get to me.
How can I forget about hot wings! Those have been my craving this entire pregnancy! I want those too!
I told DH the other day I want Panera Bread after delivery, hoping that the 1 being built is ready in time, but I doubt it will be. I told him these were my alternate choices and I'd better get all 3:
2 cheeseburgers from McD's w/extra pickle and onion
1 LG rootbeer (fountain from McD's) w/no ice
1 LG iced or hot (decaf) caramel swirl coffee with just cream from Dunkin
I'm requesting a post-delivery dinner of Indian buttered chicken and naan.
Really, though, I haven't deprived myself of coffee, sweets, or deli meat, so there's nothing that's been off-limits except alcohol and my favorite unpasteurized cheese.
As much as I'd love a margarita (or a Jack and Coke) in L&D, I highly doubt I'll be able to sneak that one past the nurses and onto the post-partum unit.

I have been telling DH I want a 6-pack of this waiting for me in the fridge when I get home. I would love a hot cheese pizza in the hospital.
Oh YEAH and at no extra charge, it makes it taste that much better, in my opinion, if I am w/DH and we go, he doesn't like to do custom order stuff and a regular cheeseburger just isn't the same. I hope your McD's gives extra extra pickles like mine does, I had a couple last week and there was pickle in every bite and there had to have been 7 pickles on each burger. Don't get a double cheeseburger with extra P&O, it comes out super salty and I don't know why.
I WANT WINE! Oh, I miss a good glass of red wine. There better be some ready for me when I get discharged from the hospital.
Also, when DD was born DH walked down the street and got me McDonalds: large fries, double cheeseburger and a Diet Coke. Nothing fancy, but I was starving and those fries were heaven. I think I devoured it all in about 5 minutes. I'd love that again!
My mind went in a total different direction when I read that. My first thoughts were have my husband go down on me or go steal Jef Holm away from Emily Maynard (hides).
After birth I want a margarita, mikes lemonade or some other sort of fruity alcohol!

My DH brought me a Tim Hortons coffee every morning after Madi. I love my husband
I want people to bring meals or to offer to help with meals this time around... last time my MIL stayed with us for a week (not happening this time or ever again) and all she did was "hold the baby" so I could cook and she did a load of laundry here and there.
I always special order!! I wanted a big mac so bad Sunday night that I ran to McD's at 9:30pm to get one with extra pickle and they gave me extra pickle; there was literally so many pickles that it was as thick as the patty yumm!!
My desire is a local restaurants slow roasted chicken with their in house made baked beans and fries and a large Dr. Pepper to wash it all down!! I have been craving this, but not getting it to give me motivation during labor...just knowing that will be coming my way will motivate me to get the baby here

I will be steering clear of any greasy, spicy food for a few days in fear of the first few #2s!!! You girls are brave!
My desire is for me not to tear this time so I have an easier recovery.

And I was so excited I misspelled "little."
As for secret desire... I realized I secretly want a boy! But obviously I'll be happy with a healthy baby of either sex
And as for food: I think I will want an entire pizza pie from my favorite place here. Whether I eat the whole thing or not is irrelevant. I'd just like that option. And a beer. Hoegaarden, maybe or OOOHHH! Rolling Rock
Yes! My SIL is a hairdresser, so I asked if she'll come by during labor and french braid my hair so that it's out of my face and styled. And I packed tinted moisturizer, a NARS stick, and eye pencil in my labor bag. *blushes*
