Colorado Shooting - miscarriage

So sad - I just read that Ashley Moser (The mother of the 6 year old who died) lost the baby she was pregnant with now too. She was shot in the abdomen and neck but the baby shockingly survived the shooting and they thought the baby might survive but she lost the baby during surgery. That poor woman has suffered so much - it's just terrible. I wonder if they will charge the gunman with a murder charge for the unborn baby...

I also saw that another one of the survivors gave birth to a healthy baby boy but her husband who was shot is still in a coma and he is still in critical condition.

    I heard on the news yesterday that they are not charging him with additional murder charges because of the miscarriage.

    My heart hurts for this poor woman. And all the victims.

    They cannot charge him with an additional murder because in Colorado a fetus is not considered a person.  Not until the baby takes his or her first breath.
