I will just be starting my student teaching when DD is about 3 months old. Will they accomodate me with pumping? Has anyone had to do this or any teachers know of anyone who had to do this?

I have a girlfriend who will be student teaching this fall as well (lucky duck- I have 2 semesters left to go!!!) and she will be pumping as well. She just spoke with her cooperating teacher and they planned her day around when she would need to pump. I think if you do this you might find your teacher to be really accomodating and understanding.
It depends on the teacher I'm sure. My mom is a teacher and she gets student teachers from time to time. The girl she had this year has 2 little boys and so my mom understood when she'd have to be off because one was sick or had a program at preschool. Hope you get an understanding teacher to work with!
