I just wanted to introduce myself, and say hi I got my BFP a week and a day ago, but took some time to post because my GP freaked me out a little by telling me that my HCG levels were quite low.
I was recently diagnosed with PSOC and had been told it may take a long time for me to conceive, so I'm still quite shocked and surprised. I'm not sure of my dates as I hadn't started charting, but based on the saliva based OPK I used (which I know doesn't tell me much), I think I ovulated on either the 9th or 10th of July, and as such would be due 1st or 2nd of April. I have a dating scan scheduled for early next week.
I have had three HCG levels done, the first was on the Monday (which I think was either 13 or 14dpo) and then the Thursday (16 or 17dpo) and finally yesterday (20 or 21dpo). My initial levels were 89, then 375, and I just got the last test back which was 2420. My doctor had been saying that they are quite low, and as my only other BFP resulted in a loss, I am worried and hoping the levels keep rising. Please keep your FX for a sticky baby I wanted to ask your opinions though, do these levels seem okay?
Re: Intro and question regarding HCG levels
I think your levels seem fine.
As long as they are going up and they are even doubling which yours are.. then you are fine!
Congrats!
If you double, which you are, then I believe you are good. My fingers are crossed for you. Good Luck, and I hope you have a h&h pregnancy.
The actual number doesn't matter as much as whether or not it doubles. I wouldn't worry at this point because those numbers look totally fine to me. H&H 9 months!
To me too. Look quite similar to mine at the time too.

This.
Congratulations and welcome!
Congrats!! your numbers look great
your numbers look good GL
They look good! My doc was worried about mine being low as well. My 1st draw was at 10dpo and was only 18. But she thinks it was because it was so early. We've done more draws to ensure they are progressing.
10dpo-18
12dpo-67
14dpo-230
My doc is wanting to test them once a week and then do a sono when I hit 4,000.
I think yours look great!

You are fine, I think maybe GP's don't know as much... I've been seeing an RE (reproductive specialist) because I also have PCOS, but I didn't ovulate on my own and had to use fertility medication. Anyway, they are more used to dealing with PCOS pregnancies and from what they have told me, your numbers are great! Honestly the number itself is almost meaningless, it's really only important to measure how quickly it doubles or triples. You look great!!!!
I have had 3 betas as well, and go in for my first ultrasound on Monday. Good luck to us!!!
