I think DS is teething...he was miserable between 1 and 4am...drooling (and choking on it, lovely), gnawing on everything...
We gave him a washcloth soaked in water and frozen, and that kept him happy so long as it was frozen...once it was done, the poor little guy was miserable again. We tried nursing, but he just kept popping on and off and being frustrated (and I think in pain).
I am generally against medicating when other methods can work...but I feel so bad for him....think a little tylenol before bed (or if he wakes up) is worth it?
Re: Tylenol for Teething?
If it can help your child not be in pain, why not?

DD has started teething and per our discussion with her pedi's office yesterday, we gave her tylenol before going to bed -- she slept much better. I also don't want to give her medication unnecessarily so during the day we try other methods (teething ring, etc.). I'm also giving her a teething ring when she goes to bed.
