Anyone else find their sizes a little weird? Or maybe the papayas around here are just obnoxiously huge compared to most. But the papayas (this week's fruit) at the store today were about 50% bigger than the grapefruit (next week's fruit.) Or are they going by weight instead of length? Because rutabagas are 27 weeks, despite all being smaller than grapefruits (23 weeks). But weight doesn't make sense because eggplants and cucumbers come after cantaloupe... And coconuts are 35 weeks, despite being slightly smaller and lighter than grapefruits... What is WITH their fruit comparisons???

At our first u/s, my husband asked the u/s tech "so it's the size of a prune?" She then proceeded to laugh at us and said everyone always asks about the fruit. She said I don't know about a prune but it's an inch long.
I take the fruit with a grain of salt = )
