Tattoos?

Any of you ladies tattooed already or planning on getting your LOs name or something tattooed after birth? I wanted to get one for Q after he was born, never got around to it but now that I will have two and I'M DONE having children, I think that I will get something done.

    I'm not getting the kids names tattooed but the meaning behind they're names done in a sleeve. I was actually a week away from having the top half of my arm (for DD) started when I found out I was pregnant with this LO. My mom has mine and my sister's name tattooed on her shoulder.

    Feel lucky that you waited until after your first. I got mine for DD1 shortly after she was born and now I wish I would have waited so I could have done something that incorporates both of them instead of now having to get something completely separate.

    I was waiting for FI to figure out what he wanted to get for Q's tattoo but he is a big baby and I think is afraid to get one lol I have a ton so I'm itching to get more!

    I'm definitely planning on getting one on my left shoulder for my little dragon baby. I'm waiting until after she's born. Incidentally, does anyone know if we can get tattooed while breastfeeding?

    I only have one but I love tattoos. I've been wanting more for the longest time, but can never decide on what. I have been thinkig of ways to celebrate LO with a tattoo, but maybe I'll wait until we're all done so I can incorporate all of them somehow like pp said.

    I don't know the exact answer off the top of my head, but to be on the safe side I would say no.

    DH and I are both planning one for after LO is born, he wants her name written in Gaelic and her birthdate in roman numerals on the inside of his bicep, and I don't know yet what I want but probably inside the same bicep, more feminine design. Maybe? I have quite a few already so I'm excited! I was all set to have one done before we found out I was KU, so I have a few planned :)

    I have DS's name in a heart on my right shoulder.  I will get DD's name in a heart on my left in pink instead of blue.

    I have several tattoos myself and i am dying to get more, i have a few planned for when i can afford them. i want to get a tattoo for this baby and anymore children i have. i have  dragon flying over mountains with a storm behind it on my back and i am thinking of adding a dragon with her name as part of the wing flying over the top of the tattoo. my back will be covered by the time im done.

    I'm personally not a fan of tattoos but my DH is. I told him, IMO, tattoos are for memories so I don't want him getting any of/for our kids. He's very excited, however, at the prospect of getting matching tattoos with his future punk princess on her eighteenth birthday. I am NOT excited about that idea and DH originally asked if he could take her (this is all hypothetical as this LO is a boy and he will be our first) on her sixteenth birthday but I put my mommy-foot down and said not a chance but that I couldn't stop her or him once she's an adult.

    I have two custom tattoos already to mark significant events in my life. I already have a 3rd planned for after the baby comes and I am done breastfeeding.  I really thought my diagnoses with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia would prevent me from ever having kids due to the medications I had to rely on. Then with all the fertility issues it just seemed like it would never be possible.  I feel like being pregnant I have taken a bit of my life back and I want to celebrate that my diagnoses does not control me. So there is a lot of meaning going into this one tattoo. I really want a larger one but DH has asked me to keep it smallish this time. I certainly wont do a name tattoo, but I want something that signifies this wonderful blessing.
