It's not much, but it's an update...

At 42 days past my m/c, my beta is still 2.5 which means it hasn?t budged in three weeks ? THREE F?CKING WEEKS!  It?s just stuck there ? mocking me ? and completely taking me out of the running for doing another cycle in August.  So, since I can?t cycle until October now, I have to wait.  That b*tch AF showed up yesterday so I have that to enjoy this weekend and this morning I got to have my 10th ? yes, I said TENTH ? blood draw since my m/c to see if maybe that helps get my beta back to zero.  I won?t know till this afternoon.

 I just can?t get over the timing of this whole thing.  First, my m/c happens on my once-in-a-lifetime day to go to Fenway park and hang out on the field and meet some of the players.  Now, the ONE MONTH we can?t cycle again this year is September because DH and I are both in one of my BFFs wedding and cycling in September (and having it actually work) would put my due day in mid-May ?EXACTLY when the wedding is!  I really, really, really don?t want to miss my friend?s wedding, and an FET is one of the few things in this whole IF madness that we actually have a little control over with regards to timing, so we?re going to wait until October.  Granted, if I were pregnant with twins, we still might have to contend with the wedding, but I?m only willing to put the cycle off until October? oh, and guess when we are ordering our dresses ? yup, OCTOBER!  That ought to be interesting? FML!!!!

 So, the cherry on this sh*t cake is that I had lunch yesterday with one of my very good work friends who told me she is pregnant.  I painted the typical smile on my face and congratulated her (she was very sweet about telling me), but the real kick to the crotch came when I asked her when she was due ? she?s due one day after my EDD.  ONE DAY!  I had to bite the inside of my cheek to not completely lose it and I quickly changed the subject. 

 And tonight I?m having dinner with friends ? one of which is 18 weeks pg.  Oh joy?.

 What have I ? or any of us! ? done to deserve this kind of cruelty?!?!

 So there you go ? my little update.

    Ugh - it's all so f*ing unfair for all of us.Angry I hope things start to turn around for you and this all becomes a distant memory when you succeed in Oct.

    Dx: DOR and MFI

    DH: low count + very low motility; hormones all normal; Sperm DNA Frag. test = poor to fair; male karyotyping normal
    Me: FSH 13.4 + AMH 0.26 + hypothyroidism; Scratch the hypothyrodism (?); Blood clotting and immune panel all negative; endometrial biopsy normal

    IVF #1 (MDLF - Jul/Aug 2011): BFN (9R, 5M, 3F with ICSI, 3dt of 1 10-cell grade 2, no frosties)
    IVF #2 (EP-antagonist - Sep/Oct 2011): BFN (6R, 4M, 3F w/ ICSI, 3dt of 1 6-cell, 1 7-cell, grade 4s, no frosties)
    DE IVF #1 (shared cycle - June 2012): c/p (6R, 6F w/ICSI, 3dt 1 8-cell grade A- and 1 7-cell grade A-; no frosties)
    DE IVF #2 (shared cycle with new donor - Nov/Dec/ 2012): - BFP!!!!! 12/14/12. U/S on 12/27 shows twins!!!!!

    IVF#1 - 1 blast = BFP!! (12/30), EDD 9/9/12, confirmed c/p 4w2d

    I would guess that with AF showing up your beta will be down to zero.

    That's what I'm hoping too.  It's by no mean heavy, but it's something..... I'm still waiting to hear back from the nurse.  Hopefully soon!

    DH on Clomid / Arimidex to address hormonal issues - Sperm found July 2011!
    IVF #1 September 2011 - ER 9/8/2011- 8R, 5M - icsi - 1 made it to transfer - BFFN :-(
    IVF #2 Lucky November 2011 - ER 11/25/2011 - 15 eggs!, 13 mature, 10 fertilized with isci - 7 made it to transfer! Transferred 1 - 8 cell and 2 - 7 cell. BFP!!!!
    1st U/S - Twins! 2nd U/S - 3 heartbeats!!! - HOLY COW!!!
    Prayers for our take home babies!
    2 babies born on 3/27/12 and lost. Last baby born on 3/29/12 and lost at 20 weeks.

    Hugs, Im not sure why they keep bringing u in. I'd say no.  Under 5 is neg, so there is no reason to keep checking u.  

    Also, I'd proceed w the fet regardless of a wedding. It's always something, u know.
