I bought a pair of comfy sheepskin winter boots at Costco to wear on cold days, and I had them on yesterday. One of my students goes "Are those Uggs???" I said "No, I'm not 18." She goes "Oh, then they're Fugs, you know, fake Uggs!?!" I said "Actually, I bought them at Costco to wear in the winter, not to wear with skirts and shorts all year round. They are not supposed to look like Uggs. They are practical."
UGH. I hate Uggs, and now I look like I'm trying to wear them??? Sorry if you like them. I actually don't mind people wearing them in the winter, which is what they are for, but I tend to think of Ugg people as the ones who wear them with cute little outfits all year round. I do not do that. Vent over.
Re: Ummm, no, they are not "Fugs"
I have a pair too, and how in the hell is the sheepskin suppose to keep you cool in the summer after a surfing adventure. Yikes. I can only wear them in the winter, because they get TOO warm!?
Note: I do not wear them with skirts. Jeans only, and it has to be a jean with a little wider leg so they can go over the whole boot. ?
Yeah my students wear them year round with short skirts and shorts.
I hate them, they look stupid on everyone.
wow...jar...lol
Ummmm, YES, they are. LOL I know exactly which shoes you're talking about.
If you hate them so much why did you buy a pair? You are cracking me up.
And yes, they are not meant *just* for the winter, since Australia doesn't really get much of a winter. Nice try though. :-)
Welcome to the dark side!
