Glucose Test...

Hey everyone, I have my one hour on Tuesday and was curious if anyone knows how long it takes to get the results?  Do I get them right afterwards?...Do I have to wait a couple days?

    I took it Tuesday morning and my doctor called me Wednesday morning with the results.

    I took mine last Tuesday and still have not got a phone call.....So I am hoping that means I passed! Indifferent

    I went in the morning and got the results in the afternoon before the end of the office hours. I didn't get the 3hr results the same day though, I had to wait till Monday. I went on a Friday for that one.

    I got my results within 30 seconds. The nurse who took my blood walked over to the counter and ran the test and then told me I failed.

    I have my 3 hour scheduled for tomorrow and hope I pass it.

    I went yesterday to Labcorp and they said 2-3 days.

    I think it depends on the dr's office.  With DS, I got the results a day or so later (I don't really remember).  With this pregnancy, the lab tech used a glucometer (like for diabetes) to check my level and I got my results pretty much right away (she had to do a draw for RH levels and give me the Rhogam shot and then I got my results).

    My doctor's office has a lab in-house, so I only had to do a finger prick in the lab and they ran one test for glucose and another for hemoglobin. I went straight from the lab area to the doctor's area with the nurse and she gave me the results immediately. 

    If your doc doesn't have a lab they have to send it off so it won't be as fast.

    With my first DD, I was told I passed it at my next appointment. I assume if I had failed they would have called me in sooner to get started with everything you need to do.

    Just did mine today and got the results within 5 minutes.  Same with other 2 children.
