    My LO's wave looks like that. He waves at anything that moves (fans, doors, people) lol.

    Yes, my one daughter does this and stares at her hand while doing it. I think she's just amused by her fingers..haha

    Our LO just started doing this.  He does it while rotating his wrist around- kind of like I do when I'm trying to crack mine or if I fall on it.  He stares at his hand so intently too.  It's too cute!

    mine definitely did that hand opening/closing for a while, and before that she was doing the rotating wrist thing all the time. we called it the royal wave. now she is clapping a lot. it does seem like they discover a new movement and then repeat it over and over, then on to the next thing!
