Re: Do you give snacks?
Not specifically but if he's really hungry and dinner isnt ready yet, Ill give him something to munch on to avoid a tantrum. Usually he's fine with grazing on his sippy of milk throughout the day.
Once at 4pm. I started as a way to replace that bottle months ago and it stuck.
We also eat lunch fairly early and dinner fairly late, so she kind of needs it. It's actually one of the times of day she eats the best.
Our typical day is..
7:30 breakfast
12:00 lunch
3:00 snack
5:30 dinner
We pretty much nurse first thing in the morning and between meals.
DD will usually have fruit or puffs as a snack between breakfast & her 1st nap. She has yogurt as a snack after her afternoon nap and I usually give puffs or something to munch on after dinner as "dessert". I'll will give her more if she doesn't eat much at dinner. I want to be sure she's had enough to stick with her through the night.
I hope this helps!
