We call it Nemo. We did IVF so our embryo had to implant itself into my lining. I was praying for it to find its way to its home! The good thing about Nemo is we definitely won't name the baby Nemo so we aren't getting attached to the name accidentally.

My husband started calling our LO Franklin shortly after my BFP...just because he didn't want to call him/her "it". His family is all saying Franklin or Frank now -- even confused some of his older aunts who thought that we already knew it was a boy and that was going to be his name (it's not). He assured them that we were planning to call the baby Wolverine if it's a boy
Hahaha, this made me laugh because as I was in the shower today, I said to myself, "Hmmm, Franklin isn't a bad boy name!" I'm pretty sure DH won't go for it though. Very random, I know, but I just thought I'd share.
We have quite a few...Baby, Baby M, Bean, Monkey, Sweet Pea, Baby Bean, and Bear. Whenever I refer to the baby with a pronoun, I say she. I've done it in my blog quite a bit. While I know I can't be positive, I very strongly feel like this little bean is a girl. If I end up being wrong, I'm writing an entire blog post apologizing to my little boy! lol
BFP #1 5/12/12; EDD 1/20/13; Eliana Grace born 1/25/13
After the u/s last week we are now calling LO Wiggle Butt. Wiggle butt was moving around so much that the midwife had to chase it around to get measurements.
Bean or Baby ... obviously nothing exciting! But once we know the sex we will start calling s/he by the appropriate name as we already have them picked out!
Our fetus nickname is kind of unique. My husband is Indian-American, so we've been calling the baby 'Samosa.' Which I think makes sense, because a samosa is kind of like an Indian dumpling. Which at least is half-true in our case:)
Otherwise bambino (me), the Bean (my girlfriends) and Peanut.
We call the baby "The wee one" lol or depending on the day the "package" lol my mom will call me and ask "How is the package" makes me crack up every time :P
I said, "Oh my, what a marvelous tune" It was the best night, never would forget how we moved. The whole place was dressed to the nines, And we were dancing, dancing Like we're made of starlight Like we're made of starlight. ~TS
We were calling him/her by the fruit of the week (raspberry, blueberry). Then we came to Olive and it stuck. Seriously trying to convince DH to use Oliver as a boy's name.
One of my best friends named her son Oliver (Ollie for short) and I love it!
Long story short - it took us years to get pregnant so when I got the positive pregnancy test, we went to the OB to get an u/s to determine how far along we were. Well, we were 5 1/2 weeks and only had the gestational sac and yolk sac (no fetus, no heart beat, nothing but the yolk sac) so we called it Scram, Scrambie, or Yolkie (yolk sac = egg). Scram has stuck
We called ours Poppy at first because he/she was the size of a poppy seed when we found out I was pregnant. Now though, I call the baby Barfy because I have been feeling so sick.
My DH calls it Carlton...he calls me Carl when I forget something or do something stupid and this baby has been making that happen more often! My 3 year old niece was very serious when she told us that she was going to call the baby Buckshot. I just call it baby!
I called it Ziggy when it was still a zygote but mostly refer to it as "the baby" now. My husband was calling it Shim, since we don't know the sex yet. But I asked him to stop since a once knew a guy named Shem who was a sweet but lost soul and I would get depressed every time when thinking about how if that Shem had as loving a family as our Shim will have then he wouldn't have had such a hard life.

Our girl name is Olivia - nn Olive... I loved the Olive week
At first we were calling it Thor because we joked that if it was a boy we would name it Thor. Now we call it EmmaDean because that are our boy/girl names.

The first time around we called my son Baby Rebel. We didn't share our name choices so everyone used the NN.
This time around we've finally decided on Rebel 2.0 and Two or Deuce since my son's favorite number is 2. Up till now it's been just the baby.
