I do not want to eat anything other than BREAKFAST food for BREAKFAST. If you eat cheeseburgers or hot dogs for breakfast then you are weird. However, I like breakfast food for lunch and/or dinner, so clearly I have my head on straight :P
I LOOOOVE breakfast food, I could eat it all day. Same with desserts! My UO is that I hate all salad dressings except Ken's Northern Italian Light Dressing. Lol, no ranch dressing for me!
I love breakfast food too. One of my favourite parts of mat leave is eggs for breakfast every day.

I can't think of an original UO right now.
I love breakfast. I am pretty unbearably cranky if I don't get a good breakfast.
I also love breakfast for dinner. It is my favorite think in the world and I have it at least once a week.
My UO, since all I can think about is food: I eat fries with mayo and hate ketchup.
I hate to carry cash. If you don't take plastic, I don't want to be your customer ...sometimes this comes back to bite me in the butt :-(
This! I'm weird and I look at the money in the bank as the money i have if it is not in the bank then it feels like free money to me so i spend cash way too easily but if i have to use my card and then subtract that from my bank balance it makes me think more about what i spend.but because the cash is already substracted I don't think about it.

Ladies, ladies, there is a compromise in the breakfast vs. lunch battle, and it's that glorious bastion of day drinking known as BRUNCH.
Ahh brunch, how I love thee. You can drink mimosas and bloody marys and nobody looks twice, but if you have a long island iced tea with breakfast, you're suddenly a lush.
The way Drew Barrymore talks out of the side of her mouth bothers me.
I love breakfast food anytime of the day.
My UO (also on the subject of food) is that I love cold pizza and I like to put salt on it while its cold because I like the crunch of the salt. I also enjoy cold pizza especially for breakfast.
I mix ketchup and mayo together and eat it on my burgers, chicken sandwich's and fries.
I hate pudding.
I wear glasses and have no desire to get contacts or do lasik.

Oooh brunch. I do love a good mimosa with my eggs benedict.
ETA: or more like, a good eggs benedict with my mimosa(s)...am I right?
My UO is in the same vein as my "mamby pamby" parenting one from last week. I have seen far too many people trying to reason with their small kids like they're an adult. News flash: they don't flucking understand your dumb a$$!!!!
Discipline your child already or I will side eye the hell out of you and talk about you for sure. My four year old understands taking toys away, a pop on the behind (yes, I spank when it's truly worthy of it...gasp all you want pearl-clutchers), and time out. She doesn't understand emotions and every social nuance yet.

On the cash thread: I hate any place that doesn't accept credit cards. I don't have a debit card just cuz I'm lazy and only want one card to use/lose. I use my cc b/c I get 2% cash back on everything all the time. I just cashed in my points and will receive $500 off my next billing statement. I use the card for everything I can, hospital bills, tv bills, you get my point. So it adds up. So far I have had $500 off 3xs. I know the business has to pay the cc themselves and that does suck, but it is all I carry. I am always up a river if I go somewhere and they don't have take them...
jfranklin....
I'm from WI and poop fine (and eat dairy every day of my life). I think I built up a tolerance.
Finally, I know American is "processed' cheese. But what else is, what does processed mean? Should I only by bricks of cheese or are bagged kind ok?
Ice cream in anything is awesome. Breakfast=awesome, but breakfast for dinner (we call brinner) is even more awesome. I love cheese!, therefore I don't poop much. I came up with a good uo when reading everyones' post but have now forgot...

Lasik scares me! I'd probably be the one going blind with that and I would prefer no one comes near my eyes... I cannot stand that puff glaucoma test at the eye doctors. I hate when other people touch my eyes. I had a hard time with the makeup artist when she tried to apply mascara on my wedding day.
mayo and relish (tartar sauce home made) is awesome on just about anything! I've never tried ketchup and mayo but that may be a new one!
Breakfast is good for breakfast but other than that I'm all set. I hate cereal for dinner! haha and eggs just suck especially if you cook them too long! They smell >:

Not sure if this is an UO.........I just read that Massachusetts banned hospitals from giving formula goodie bags that are provided by the formula company. I appreciated the heck out of my goodie bag. I was determined to breastfeed but my milk never came in, I decided that formula was a better option for my family. I think all that matters is that your LO is healthy and gaining weight. I do not understand why the government thinks they should make such personal choices for women. Reading stuff like that can make women that formula feed feel like failures. I am in no shape, form, or fashion trying to have debate over breastfeeding versus formula feeding. I am just adding my 2 cents that banning goodie bags is ridiculous.

I liked mine, too, even though I BF.
That can of formula is going to get me some good food and antibiotics after doomsday happens.

I EBF and I love my free formula goodies. I got a few because LO was discharged more than once because I wasn't allowed to go home yet. I use the mini coolers with the ice packs all of the time when DH is out with LO without me and he needs to bring a bottle of pumped milk.

Yes, all of what I bolded plus the last 2 years I declined to get my eye dilated. I have a weird fear that it will make me blind or something. I don't put on eyeliner - ever.
Try the mayo ketchup - yum! And I am eating a turkey sandwich right now with mustard and mayo mixed. I love mayo
3. I actually do think skinny jeans can look good on most people even if you are overweight. It's all about what shirt and shoes you wear. I rocked maternity skinny jeans my entire pregnancy.
4. I love both ketchup and ranch and could eat them on anything, including my own arm.
5. I thought cones were stupid until I realized I could eat one and push a stroller around at the same time.

Mine is that I can't stand flucking Calliou. I think Gisa mentioned PBS kids so it made me think of it. That kid whines and does nothing else, and I don't want ANYONE'S kid to learn that, not just mine. Man up, Calliou.

I don't care for ranch dressing and I don't feel the need to put it on everything
I dont eat salad dressing at all. I think it's gross. It's also usually fat-laden and people slather their salads in it. A salad isn't healthy when it's iceberg lettuce, bacon, cheese, and ranch dressing. Stop fooling yourselves.
lol, I get your point, and you are right about the iceberg, bacon, cheese, ranch salad. But salad dressings that are olive oil based are good fats. Throw that on a salad with lots of varied vegetables and some protein, and you've got a pretty healthy meal.

I am glad they gave me some samples. LO was very jaundiced and my milk didn't come in until day 5, and he was having a hard time eating-- which made the jaundice stay longer. Putting formula on my nipple helped him latch (jaundice made him sleepy and he couldn't latch w/o a ton of work) and supplementing with formula helped until my milk came in. If I didn't have the extra little help, he may have had to be taken back to the hospital to be put under the lamps all day, and who knows how BF'ing would have gone from there. Essentially, those little bits of formula helped me BF.
Ladies, ladies, there is a compromise in the breakfast vs. lunch battle, and it's that glorious bastion of day drinking known as BRUNCH.
I've never had brunch. Clearly someone needs to come to Texas and show me all the things I've been missing.
i wish i could be joking but my dad is the music teacher at a church so he owuld be mad. we had sex, all the time how bad i know but we dont want to wait and he said GREAT OH KAY! and I was really feeling the wets? down there- too embarsed to say- but he acted like man.

This! I was Dx with hypoplastic breast tissue, and even though I had all the signs of NOT being able to breast feed prior to his birth, everyone kept telling me it was natural and it would just happen. Welllll it didn't, and L became severely dehydrated and when I finally felt like "Great, he is eating and clearly getting enough because he is just eating himself to sleep", he was actually working so hard to get anything from me that he was passing out.
Long story short, YES the formula the hospital provided helped us tremendously and without it to supplement and then fully convert to he would have ended up in the hospital. Sure, we could have just ran out to the store to get some but it was nice to have different versions of one brand or even different brands to sample and see what worked best for us so we didn't have to spend 15-30 on each little can.
I think it's ridiculous to worry about a nickname when considering names for a child. People get too worried about what people may, or may not call him/her, and if it sounds good. If you like a name, you like a name. (I hope that makes sense...lol!)

I hate my front loading washer. I can't wait to go back to a good ole top loading model.
I loathe the words yum, yummy, yummo, ect.

That sh!t is NASTY. I was very disappointed.
