Finally!!

My ex left his job in March. Hadn't received a payment since early April. Last week he told they'd started garnishing at his new job and 6 LONG days later, it shows in my AG case. Should have the money tomorrow! Yay! Yay! Yay! 

Now, if only SD would start paying!

    Aw, good for you.  I know that has to be a weight off your shoulders. 

    I had an "agreement" with SD/STBXH and he just up and stopped.  And I told him, you stop, I file for CS.  Had my hearing last week.  Lucky me, he has yet another new job (go figure) that pays twice what his old job did.  He was paying me a very, very "discounted" rate per our agreement, so he really got it stuck to him last week.  I, like I have said before, live on what I make, so anything I get in CS is a "bonus".  Can't wait to stash that payment away in savings.  He left me with a 4 month old baby and no car and told us to ride the bus.  This money will help me get a car soon.  Thank god. 

    I know I have dealt with CS with the STBX and his first wife/child and he never didn't pay.  Even all the times he was unemployed (and thats a lot he goes thru jobs like normal people go thru underwear) he always had to pay.  Pay up or locked up.  I can't believe you haven't gotten something all this time.  CS is the one thing where they do, somehow, get blood from a stone. 

    So happy for you, congrats.  One stress off the list.

    Once Dd graduates high school, I can move someplace where I can make more money. I had to leave a 52K (+per diem @500/wk) job when I found out I was pregnant. HUGE cut in pay when you factor in the per diem. I wont get that again since it required a lot of travel, but I can certainly make more than I am now elsewhere.
