i have had at least 4-5, maybe more, dreams about my grandmother (who died 6 years ago) since being pregnant. in my dreams, she is alive. we were very close, so i guess it's not surprising. i just didn't have dreams like this about her before i was pg. maybe once or twice. anyone else having dreams like this?

Re: anyone else dreaming of those who have passed?
My little brother passed away in April of 08 and I dream of him as a little boy or as a baby. Our baby is a gift from him as I am due very close to the second anniversary of him passing.
I love those dreams because they seem so real. It's just hard when you wake up and reality hits.
call me weird but I think that is beautiful! I believe in ghost and I think that is very sweet something I would def. share with others.
I'm not having dreams about loved ones that have passed mine have all been about having wild sex with random men...yeah and these guys I haven't had any type of relationship with just good friends?! Last night I had a dream my puppy (7lb Yorkiepoo) went swimming in this big pond and went under like a human?! He took a big breath and went swimming under the pier I was sitting on and didn't come back up I was so sad bc I couldn't get in the water to get him out....geez crazy pregnant lady dreams!
ive been having dreams about my dad. and its so weird, cos in my dreams im always getting ready to leave somewhere and my dad gets sad or something cos he doesnt want me to leave him alone.. so i end up staying behind...
personally, i think its my own subconscious feeling guilty, cos ive been so occupied with thoughts and everything else that comes with pregnancy.. that i dont have time to "talk to my dad" even though hes gone..

I really believe this. I also believe that my brother already knows my baby and is protecting my baby.
yes! me too! I have been dreaming about my grandmother a lot lately as well. I think for me it's because I wish she were alive for this. It's her first great-grandbaby. She died when I was a sophomore in high school so there are a lot of milestones in all of our lives that she has missed but this is the biggest yet.
at least we can see them in our dreams and work it out there.
I particulary have not, but it makes perfect sense to me that one would dream about the lost ones on the verge of receiving a new family member, maybe in hopes they would have met or out of guit fo moving on with life w/o that person.
It's all good and normal IMO.
Last week, I had a dream about my dad. He passed away 4 years ago.
I am sooooo with you on that!!!!
I dreamt of my Dad buying a pink ball cap for my little girl. He passed away when I was 16 and with all my heart I wish my little girl could have got to know him. He was amazing, a true gentleman. He and I used to fly out of town to see baseball games:)~
I think you can't dream of your future without paying respect to your past.
Yep. My grandma passed away in May, and when I found out I was pregnant, I dreamt about her almost every night. In the dreams she was always very much alive and we'd all talk about how crazy we were to have thought she had died.
I haven't had any dreams about her lately...now I've moved on to the freaky sex dreams...with all sorts of men.
