Bottomless pit

Holy crud!! I cannot get enough to eat this week. I know baby is going through a major growth spurt but geez Louise!!! Someone give me a tip on a filling food that will curb this hunger for longer than a few hours please. A big glass of water just isn't doing the trick.

  • Good to see your post  - I was wondering how you were. Food with fiber fills you up and keeps you full the longest. Shredded wheat cereal and apples (along with some protein in the same meal) keeps me going a long time.

     Speaking of .... I think I'm hungry again ....

Im hanging in there. Bed rest for a few more weeks in hopes the bleeding stops. Our next us is Aug 6th which feels like an eternity away!!! But gotta take it one day at a time. Today I am pregnant and today I love my baby.

  • Sounds like you have a great attitude and you're doing the best you can be. Bed rest isn't easy - Aug 6 will be here before you know it and you'll have more answers. Will continue to pray for you and your baby. :)

YAY!!! I've been watching for you! So glad to see you chuggin along!!! Still sending T's&P's! As far as food.I feel like Ive tried everything. munching on crackers in between meals seems to help keep the "starving-I'm going to kill if I don't eat now feeling" at bay but pretty much meals is only satisfying!

    Dear Baby Pacheco...
  • I also eat every 2-3 hours. I've been more nauseous with this pregnancy and if I don't eat that often I start to feel sick.

  • So glad to hear from you!  I like Quaker's Oatmeal Cereal, as I have never been able to get used to oatmeal as much as I try... just something about the texture.

  • I am also in the same boat.  It seems like I have to eat something every 2-3 hours or I start to feel sick!

  • I've been looking for posts from you to see how you're doing, sounds like you are hanging in which is great!  The days I'm super hungry, I eat lots of small snacks - I find that even when I feel like no amount of food could ever be enough, after a few crackers+peanut butter or something like that, I'm ok again.  Apple+peanut butter or Apple+cheese works really well for me, or even just some dried fruit and nuts - that's something you could keep bedside and not have to mess with washing/cutting up.  And yep, Aug 6 will be here before you know it!
