My DDs seem to be ready to really work on potty training. So far I ask them during the day if they need to use the potty and they always want to try...sometimes we just sit there with nothing. I always praise them for trying and they will say "maybe ness time" so cute
We always try right before bed and 1st thing in the morning especially when they wake up dry. A few times they will call out to go potty after we put them to bed for the night and usually end up going. I have been giving them 1 M&M for pee and 2 M&Ms for poop which seems to satisfy them. We also sing a silly song & dance when they are successful.
I feel like I need to be more PT focused during the day but sometimes we are so busy out & about that it's easier not to think about it. I'm on summer vacation and would like to have them PT before the end of vacation. I think I should just put myself on "house restriction" and go into full PT mode.
So what other tips do you recommend? How to go about PT when you're out of the house by yourself? What worked best for you?

No sippy cups! When I got rid of DD's her potty training was so easy. I also kept socks on her feet. If she wet herself in her undies it didn't send enough of a signal that she was wet. Once she stayed in socks.. and her socks got wet because she forgot to ask/run for the pot it really triggered within her a sense of urgency. Pooping in the potty actually took a little more work but she got that down as well. EVERY time she went in the potty it was like a mini party. We went potty every half an hour and then moved it to every hour on the hour. She still forget when she is wrapped up in something that has taken all of her attention and we have to remind her " have you gone potty?" " You sure you don't have to go?" Then she might go OH! I GOTTA GO POTTY and run off lol.
