how many BMs did your 1 week old have?

I'm worried he isn't getting enough to eat because he only has 1 major BM a day.  He has plenty of wet diapers, but I feel like he should be going more than he is.

    Every baby is different. Mine pooped all the time... sometimes we couldn't go through the day without a poopy diaper! Consider yourself lucky and stop worrying!

    she was averaging about 1 a day that first week, but was a bit constipated due to the formula we are supplementing with.  Now that she gets more breastmilk we get 3-5 BMs a day

    with BF babies it can really vary. at first my DD would poop either in the middle of or after every feeding. 8-10 times a day. or more. explosive poops!

    finally at nearly 4 months she has slowed down to 3-5 a day, and usually not pooping overnight.
