congrats to everyone ive recently started to feel better (i was getting so sick my first trimester) but now i eat everything! and want to start eating better and becoming more active.
my questions are??
how many pounds have you ladies gained thus far (at or around 15 weeks)?
and what do you do to stay active?
Re: 15 or about week ladies
I am going to be 17 weeks tomorrow. I have gained about 6.5 pounds. I didnt have any morning sickness so I didnt lose weight during the first trimester.
I walk a lot and I also do light aerobics a few times a week.
Hi! So far weight loss is 2 pounds.
I walk/light jog to stay active.
I gained about 6 pounds, but I think it was from eating like crap while I had m/s. I ate way too many carbs so now I'm trying to get back to healthy eating.
I jog, do the elliptical trainer at the gym, and swim to stay active.

I try to swim at least 3 times a week, and we walk our dog for a good mile or so every day.
I am a little over 15 weeks and have gained about 5 lbs. I haven't been as active since becoming pregnant---it's been extremely hot to do any running or a ton of walking. I also was so drained by the time I got home from work during the first trimester every day I didn't want to do anything except go to bed so I could feel like I could function the next day. Never had m/s but ate a lot of carbs when I started to not feel well---lots of pretzels and goldfish crackers.
Now I am trying to focus on lots of fruits and veggies again and my energy is getting better so I hope to get up and at least take a walk with my pup every night again.
I'm probably not helpful, given I'm expecting twins, so my numbers are entirely inconsistent with the rest of you (and I'm expected to put on 1.5-2 lbs per week from here on out)
That said...I've put on ~10 lbs thus far, but it's pretty much all belly. I still fit into all of my spandex workout pants (and when I put on weight, it usually goes straight to the behind/thighs!)
In terms of exercise (until I'm told to shut it down) -- I'm @ the gym 5 days a week for about an hour each time. I'll do the elliptical/stationary bike, take Tabata/Boot Camp classes (so basically cardio/light weights), and then spinning once a week. Some of these are starting to get a bit uncomfortable (I'm measuring ~20 weeks already), so I'm not sure how long I'll be able to continue some...even if I'm still allowed to do so.
I'm 16 weeks tomorrow and I believe I've gained about 4 pounds. However, that 4 pound changed happened way early for me and during my last three appointments I haven;t gained. I have an appt next week though and I have a feeling its going to say I've gained something. I just feel thicker and heavier so if it says I haven't gain, I'll be shocked.
I've also heard that you should plan to gain between 12 and 14 pounds during the 2nd tri.

I am still down 8lbs from my starting weight (I have gained two from my lowest point) and I chase my son around and on cooler days I go out for walk/jogs in the park.
When it comes to eating healthy I find my problem is just not feeling satisfied. Last night I ate almost an entire jar of pickles and was seriously debating drinking the juice. I also wanted chips. This was the first time since 1st tri that I have felt this way. But I am trying to stick to my guns. I am still feeling the urge to eat healthy so I am trying to just hold on to that as long as I can. With DS I gained 35lbs and do not want to do that again.
I"m going to try to walk a mile or so a little.
I'm still down 4lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight. I haven't been very active, because it has been way too hot to be outside for more than 10min lately. I'm hoping to start a prenatal yoga class in the next couple of weeks.

Isn't it nice to feel a bit better?
I have my next appointment on Friday and don't want to know how much I have gained until then. I had lost three pounds a month ago. If I have gained, it seems to be all in my boobs (bazoombas) and tummy. I just tried on my swimsuits and I look obscene! Luckily I am going to a French island where most people run around half naked so I am not worried about buying new ones.
As far as activity, none so far. I really want to get back to it now that I feel better and will probably join the gym or find a prenatal yoga class when I get back from my trip.

I'm 16 weeks and have gained - 1.5 lbs - all in the last 4 or 5 days.
Staying active is hard -- working the corporate grind and taking care of a 14 month old, a house, a dog, etc. However, I park far away from the office and all stores so I have to alk a ways to get in. I take the dog for a long walk every day. I take the stairs whenever possible. But as far as actual workouts go - haven't figured out how to make it work yet.

5 lbs, but I also eat like crap to manage the morning sickness. I never vomitted yet so I'd rather eat all the time to keep it at bay lol
I don't do anything different than before. I try to go on walks, thats about it.

I haven't weighed myself this week...But as of last week (4 weeks) I was up 5.5 lbs. I had some nausea (no vomitting) that was eased by eating lots of carbs at the beginning!
Topped with lack of energy I only now got back into the gym! So I've been doing prenatal pilates 2-3 times a week and love it!
According to the Dr. I gained 6 pounds between my first and 2nd appointment.
I know the true damage as I weigh myself every week and honestly I have ballooned up about 10 pounds since finding out I was pregnant.
I have pregnancy induced asthma and have been exhausted beyond words so I haven't been exercising at all. I park far away in the parking lot and walk up the stairs and that is enough to make me want to pass out.
Crazy to think that 2 days after I found out I was pregnant I ran a 5K. The next week I was at the walk in clinic getting a breathing treatment because my oxygen was way down.
4 losses- MC in 2006, MMC in February 2012 at 12 weeks and MMC (twins) August 2016 at 12 weeks. Pregnant again- 11/7/16. Another loss on December 28, 2016.

I've put on 9 pounds already, and to stay active, I try to keep up with my two older kiddos, ages 6 and 9! Some people might not think this is a proper workout, but walking up and down stairs with laundry baskets has got to count for something! LOL!
Seriously, I also take long walks whenever I get the chance. It is harder to find time for it in the summer with the kids home from school, but they've done some camps and things, so I walk whenever I get kid-free time.
