Frustrated with my OB's office already!

I went in last Tuesday for a urine culture and blood work after my +HPT. They told me it would be about 2 days for results. I am still waiting!! I called on Friday at 11 and they left a message for the nurse to return my call. No one ever did. I went the whole weekend and even gave them this morning and nothing. I called again at 1pm today and the receptionist said that for some reason my results aren't in the computer and the nurse is going to need to track these down and call me back. I am so annoyed. I just want some sort of conformation that I am indeed pregnant (beyond the 20 or so +HPTs that I peed on!) I haven't even made my first appt yet. Sorry just needed to vent!

ugh how annoying those offices can be! hope you get a call back ASAP

That's definitely frustrating! Is this the same office you used with your first pregnancy?

Being that this is my first pregnancy I didn't have a doctor, and I got really bad feelings from the one that was recommended to me by my gyn. I ended up canceling the appointment before I ever went in and scheduling with another office that was recommended/has great reviews. I felt SO GOOD after getting off the phone with them- I know I made the right choice in changing doctors.

Annoying indeed, but it's time to chill out. My Dr didn't even want to confirm my pregnancy. A positive home test was good enough for them. I have to wait until next week (almost a month after my positive test) to see my Dr. So yeah, it could be worse!! Good luck!

My doc never called to confirm. I think my office only calls if something is off.

Well if they had said they would only call if something was off I would be fine with that. They specifically said they would call with results in 2 days. Just annoying that I still haven't heard anything from them. Yes this is the same OB I went to for my last pregnancy and they were fine then. I also go to this doctor for my GYN exams and she knows my history. Oh well guess I just have to wait.
