So, I ran to Target on my lunch break to pick up a homestyle Mac-n-Cheese easy mac & a hot dog. Then, I saw this ad for a Hibiscus whatchamadoodle thing at Starbucks. So, I walked over there to get one. (Gross BTW) As I am standing at the counter waiting on my drink the guy behind me says to the chick that was with him, "Are you sure you don't want anything?" She looks right at me & said "No, This is a coffee shop & I am pregnant. Pregnant women don't need anything from a coffee shop" I just laughed and said "Sucks my kid will have two heads" & walked off sipping my nasty drink. (If only she knew there was also a hot dog in my target bag! ::gasp::)

I thought the Barista was going to die when I said my kid would have 2 heads. I mean this woman made no effort to be discreet that she was judging me. ha-ha

I'm pretty sure I would have fallen on the floor if I had been that barista. I haven't been judged (out loud) this pregnancy but with DD the lady at dunkin donuts asked "What are you doing to that poor baby?" as she handed me a DECAF coffee.

Wow, I would have laughed at her too. I go to Starbucks almost everyday. That hibiscus thing is pretty gross... I've been getting the Passion Tea Lemonade, super refreshing on hot days. Sometimes I get a decaf something, sometimes I just really want some caffeine, so I get a regular. Luckily no one has tried to make some stupid comment like that to me. WTH is wrong with people?

I'm confused...was the fact that you were going to order/drink SB going to impact her child? Did she think through osmosis or cosmic kinship or something that your clearly risky behavior was going to give her child 2 heads?

I would have told her that her Mother of the Year status won't come out for another 18 years when you can judge if her child is a productive member of society. If her kid isn't, she probably could have reconsidered all that caffeine.

Forget the glazed donuts...try the chocolate cream filled muffins. They are to dye for!! Before someone gets all judgy on me, I have refrained from eating any during my pregnancy, mainly because we can't affor SB right now.
