I've been meaning to post for a few days now. Somehow having a newborn takes up a lot of time. After being 13 days overdue, in early labor for 3 of the days, finally getting induced Wednesday night, 1st epidural not taking, 2nd epi not taking all the way and exhaustion like I've never known (until now - ha!), our sweet baby girl Scarlett Delaney is here! She was born on July 19 - 8 lbs. 6 oz and is simply gorgeous (will post PIP later). I guess it's good that I was 13 days late and in early labor for 3 days - I "only" had to push for 15 mins before she arrived! Docs and nurses were amazed. Anyway, DH and I are great and there is nothing better to do than stare at our Sweet Baby S. Sorry if the annoucement is short. We're on our way to the pedi and this is the first moment I've had. Congrats to all the other July Mammas I might have missed. And to those of you wayyyyyy overdue, don't worry - the babies will come and it's beyond worth it when they do.
