My two month old goes to bed around 7:30 and will sometimes sleep until 5:30 ( I am not complaining because I know I am lucky for this). She has been getting up at 4 recently. I go back to work soon and it would be perfect if I could get her to sleep until 5 because that is what time I will have to get up for work. Anybody have any suggestions to get her to sleep that extra hour? My pediatrican told me that I could try a 9pm feed and she might sleep later. I tried that but it actually made her sleep less. Just thought I would see if anyone else had suggestions. Thanks!
Re: Any suggestions??
We have been trying our last feeding between 9-9:30pm. And we wake him up for this feeding, if he is sleeping. (This is the only time we wake him to feed) Most of the time it works, but sometimes it doesn't. With his nightime feeding always being the same, he has gotten on a schedule which is great.
Typically we will Unswaddle him in his crib and he will "wake" himself up from his arms going crazy. Or just move him from his crib to his bouncer or swing, and again he kind of wakes up on his own then.
