Pregnant after a Loss

I think I have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

It started with a pain in my thumb and now I my fingers fall asleep pretty easily.  At first I noticed it when I woke up in the morning but now I have it more and more, even during the day.

It does make it interesting when I wake up go to the bathroom at night.  Tongue Tied

Re: I think I have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

  • That was my biggest complaint during pregnancy! Not swollen feet or being huge and tired, carpal tunnel was my worst nightmare!! I used a wrist brace, but that didn't work all the time. It just started to get better a few weeks ago! Good luck.

It took 5 months to go away!!!!!  Oh no, I thought it would miraculously go away once the baby is born.  This may be a bigger deal then I expected.

  • I have it too and have to wear a brace at night when I sleep.  Then the brace get uncomfortable because my fingers swell. UGH!
  • You're so right about going to the bathroom at night, haha.  I told my doctor today that my hands hurt so bad at night that it's difficult just to tear toilet paper off the roll.

She also threw out the term "Tarsal Tunnel"... same idea, but in your feet.  I'd never heard of it before.  Have you?
