I don't really like pie. It's too mushy.
But I do like hot apple pie as long as it's served with real vanilla bean ice cream.
However, I'd take cheesecake any day.

What is flapper?

Flapper pie is a custard pie topped with meringue. The Graham cracker cream pie dates back to the 19th century but entered Western Canadian pop culture in the 20th century as flapper pie.
The pie is a staple of the Canadian prairie culture.
Okay - I didn't realize it was from my part of the country. I don't like the graham cracker crumbs, and some versions have shredded coconut in it. I like coconut, but get it out of my custard.
Cheesecake is ick. Unless it's the plain kind with strawberries, then, ok.
Then we need a pie intervention.
Nasty. It sounds too mushy.
Not a big pie fan myself. Apple is alright with lots of butter laden cinnamon crust on top. It has to be hot and it must have a fresh scoop of vanilla ice cream just starting to melt.
However, at the end of the bowl the filling is left and the crust and ice cream are gone.
I hated cheesecake before baby, now I love it.

I also like key lime pie, cookie dough pie, and peanut butter pie.
Pumpkin pie is gross.
Whipped cream on pie is gross.
Warm fruit pie/cobbler/crisp with ice cream is bomb-ness. Especially if it is soft serve, Like at a buffet.
I like all forms of cake with the exception of carrot/spice cake.
Darn, I thought you were being dirty... Like the 20's flappers... their "cream pies."
It kind of is. I like some custard pies, but not this one. Ick. I can't wait to make a deep dish apple pie, I usually do that in the fall with apples from the upick.
But cake still trumps pie. Homemade cake. Box mix doesn't not count!

No way. Pie faker. It teases you, but there's no flaky crust.
It's basically a molasses pie. Big in Pennsylvania, especially Amish country.
I don't like cheese cakes.
That being said my Aunt owns a cheesecake baker in NY and I do taste test her flavors occasionally. She knows I'm picky so if I can tolerate it, it must be good.

Also, I love most pies, just not pecan pie. I seriously love pumpkin pie and cherry. Also pumpkin cheesecake!
