Just starting out (need advice)

My mother and father in law are foster parents through a private organization. They have a 14 year old girl whom they do respite for quite often. My husband and I have spent quite a bit of time with her in the last year (my in laws have her for weeks at a time) and we have just fallen in love with this girl. I have always wanted to foster to adopt (I was a foster kid) but my husband and I decided to hold off on that dream because he was worried that he would be incapable of loving an adopted child as much as he loved our biological children (we have an 8 month old and we are expecting again at the end of Dec.). Well this teenage girl has changed his mind. We are just in the beginning stages of talking about it but I guess I just needed some opinions from women that have btdt.
