While I want my baby to grow up (obviously!) I'm also LOVING the age she is at right now. She is so easy/fun/huggable, I just wish I could freeze time. I'm so happy about this, because the newborn stage was really really hard on me.
So far, I'd say that 6-8 months is my fave age so far. What about you?
(Also, BTDT Moms, does it just keep getting more fun??)
(Andplusalso, I'll retreat back into semi-lurker status now and stop being a PW!)
Re: Favorite age so far?
I also love this age, 8-9 months. Our DD is also a mush, & she is doing so many adorable things... but she isn't quite moving yet, which is good.
I have BTDT, so I can say that it does continue to be fun as they grow, but each stage represents unique challenges in parenting. I just find it so amazing to watch them as they discover new things around them and how the world works. With my DS I couldn't wait for him to crawl, walk, talk, etc. This time around I really want to enjoy each stage as DD is in it.
When she hugs me I just melt
Right now, for sure. We *finally* seem to be out of the colicky stage and his stomach issues seem to have gone away. He is so much fun now, I am so amazed at the new skills he is learning every day.
4 to 5 months. Sleeping through the night. No teeth. Lots of naps. Starting to really get her personality.
Now is cute too but teeth, sleeping difficulties and a strong willed and mobile baby make things difficult.
By far now. He's mobile and independent but sooo fun!! I didn't enjoy 5-6 months just because I had to sit on the floor constantly with him in order to play. I feel like I can be a human and sit on the couch now while he cruises around the room.
Also, I love how easy he is to take out now. His naps are very scheduled so you don't have to worry about that. Plus my diaper bag isn't full of supplies as much (just toys).
I can't wait to have another baby but I know it's going to be so hard going right back to te baby stage.

Ooo... hard question!
I would say NB and right now. I love the snuggly newborn stage and she was a pretty good sleeper from the start. Now I love that her awake times have lengthened now and she has put herself on a nap schedule so it has been easier to plan things. It is fun watching her interact with us and other babies now too.
2 months was the hardest for me because she became sensitive to sounds and didn't want to nap ever even though she was majorly overtired.
I absolutely loved the NB stage. Squishy, itty bitty babies make my ovaries flutter
But I am loving 7 months since he is learning so much. Crawling, sitting, standing, cruising...so much fun! I also love shopping with him now. He is super interested in toys & items in the stores, its really cute!
Baby Boy #2 is on the way!
I loved DD as a newborn and I miss that stage a lot, she was just so tiny. Also, I am loving this stage too, though the mobility comes with new challenges and fears, her personality is just growing and growing and it's interesting to watch her try new things and explore her world.
Also MsCaddyshack, you don't have to lurk
