Hi Ladies,
Sorry in advance, I feel like I'm going to be asking input on a lot of stuff in the next few days - hope you all don't mind ![]()
I'm applying for an internal position (promotion). I'm in a client facing roll, and the one I'm applying for is also client facing. Do you think I should specifically name the 'wins' I've had with some of my clients in my current roll? Like actually put the clients' name? I work for a consulting business, and it's smaller, about 200 employees. So the people I'll be interviewing with will definately know these clients... Not sure if there is any protocol for this kind of stuff.
Re: Cover Letter Question?
I think it would depend on the type of confidentiality agreement you signed. Some agreements say that you cannot disclose any confidential information (including client names) to anyone unless they are directly working on the same project, etc. Some say that you cannot disclose any information outside of your department. Some just say to outside sources.
Perhaps if you give descriptions such as "large company in the ______ industry", anyone with knowledge of the clients may be able to surmise what client you are referring to without you actually giving "xyz.inc"
