My DS has been EBF for 10 1/2 months now and I would like to wean from the pump soon. When he turns 1 I would like to wean daytime feedings and only nurse when he wakes and before bed. I have approx. 175 oz's of frozen milk but I'm not sure how to use it. Should I go ahead and wean one feeding during the day and replace with a bottle? He only gets 6 bottles during the week (part time babysitter). Or should I just wait until he's 1 and start weaning the nursing sessions and replace with a bottle then? He's pretty good at drinking out of a sippy, but I really don't want to put BM in them...only water or WCM.
Any suggestions? Thanks!
Re: XP: How to use up freezer stash?
This is what I'd do.
We'll miss you sweet Debbie Girl (4.21.12) and sweet Cindy Girl (8.9.12)

I am cycling through my freezer stash(I EP) I give her the oldest dated bag for breakfast while I pump, the rest of her bottles is the freshly pumped and I pump 2 more times after she goes to bed and I freeze those. I will stop pumping after her 1 year birthday and then go through the stash, which is about 2 months worth.
I don't understand the transition to WCM from a sippy.. My daughter has been drinking BM from a sippy for months now.. She also uses a straw well and can drink from a cup. I don't know what it being in a sippy has to do with the transition. To each their own though
Good luck!
