Don't like pinterest. And yes, I got helpful info regarding MAC makeup, the self tanning lotion and if it works, I got great info on baby carriers, (thank you everybody who recommended ErgoBaby) baby monitors (I love my Angel Care monitor) car seats etc. And it helps to vent and share your frustrations with women who may be going through something similar and understand if you don't know many people IRL who are experienced in this....
Sorry everybody if I've annoyed you, certainly wasn't my intention, I also sometimes wonder about certain posts like everybody else, but at least I don't say anything hurtful, I just move on. And no, I'm not looking for sympathy LOL

I think we need an outline, bullet point presentation, or maybe even a video about what are, and what are not acceptable subjects to discuss on this board. I'd hate to think I'm boring someone.

Huh...is that why the board is named "January 2012 Moms?" I guess they should post their girly stuff in the "Babies: 6-9 months" board instead. That makes perfect sense.

I haven't read this entire thread yet, but I'm assuming this post is why there are 89 comments (unless people are really upset with those of you putting a blanket in your child's crib).
I 100% agree with your statement. I can't believe anyone would defend this man for covering up for a child molester. Those poor children (10 that we know of, probably many more) are scarred for life. He should have put them above football. Football is nothing more than a game.

I let ds sleep with a receiving blanket over him at night. He sleeps in the pnp next to my bed and is more than capable of moving the blanket if it rides up on him.
I also will not let mil babysit under any circumstances. She's crazy and I can't stand even being in the room with her (and I don't feel bad about it at all).
I could care less what people post about. I just skip posts that don't interest me and it doesn't bother me at all if someone wants to discuss something non-baby related. I was one of the first January 2012 moms on the board and stuck around after the majority moved to Facebook (I missed the migration and then didn't get a chance to join before it was closed). True the board is slow but instead of lurking and not posting because you think the posts are lame, why not post something worth talking about and get the board hopping again? As much as I don't like drama, I am loving the activity on the board.
Here's my FFFC, every night I tell myself that when ds wakes up I'm just going to rock/nurse him and put him back in his bed. Then when he gets up I'm so sleepy that I just pull him in bed with me, stick my boob in his mouth and go back to sleep. I usually wake up a short time later and put him back in his bed but he ends up in my bed every morning. I swore I would never co sleep but it's so much easier and I hate that I do it.

It wasn't long after the board got started. Some of the first women on this board started a Facebook group. They felt the board was too puppies and rainbows and too many dumb questions so they stopping posting on it. In an attempt to keep dumb questions off Facebook they made an announcent that after a certain date no one else would be accepted into the Facebook group. I think I got that all right.

All true, except I believe the original intent of the FB groups was safety and easier posting. Safety doesn't bother me because I'm incognito on TB.
The second FB group did do a house cleaning to make sure anyone who was in it is an active participant, but it isn't closed to new people.
