evil chore lady-different standards

Hi all! Those of you who have read my posts of husband not making SS do chores consistently and the concern for why the heck I would ever procreate with him; Well, before we got married and talked all this out he totally agreed to chores and making kids earn things. Much to my surprise he didn't believe it when it came to his son.  He felt bad for his son's situation- BM decided to have an affair and have her 'me time' and didn't spend much time with him supposedly so my hubs filled the void with gifts and granting him his every desire.

That said-- with my daughter (now 8 but new him since 3), he limits her tv and does make sure she does chores and not sit around all day.  He claims he will do the same with the kids we have together.  He claims he realizes how bad he got with the older one and he doesn't want the others to be the same. Plus, it's easier when we support each other and not have someone like his ex call up claiming we're to hard on her baby.

    By the way--- I know, I know--- it isn't fair but I am glad that he does apply our beliefs on my daughter. I think it really makes a difference that I expect it and support unlike the situation with his son.

    Thanks ladies----- trust me, we have actually come a long way with that kid. Like I said, before I came in the picture the boy got awful grades, got everything and anything he wanted or sometimes didn't even want but demanded just because he could.  So far he has kept a 2.0 at least and is slowly starting to do more chores.,Not how it should but making progress.
