Confused....what is typical time between ER and a FET???

I feel like I'm counting my embryos before they hatch as I have just had my ER:)  If all goes well, we are going to do a freeze all and PGD testing. Initially my IVF nurse said that after getting my period, would be another 3-4 weeks so about 5-6 weeks total before an FET. The nurse today (who does the FET for my doctor) said to call when I got my period and asked if we had plans for Thanksgiving and if so she would try and work around it.....UMMMM doesn't that seem too long (end of November)?   Even if we have embryos to transfer (FX!) I may not be ready as there are some concerns now about how my uterus lining looks, so even though I just had hysteroscopy in June, may have to do again. so just playing theoreticals at this time...just wanted to know if this makes sense to any of you gals who have done FET ?

I did my egg retreival on 8/13. I transferred one and froze 2. That fresh cycle failed. The AF arrived on 8/30. I did the basic blood work and u/s on 9/1 (day 3) and started 2 mg estrace twice daily. My tentative transfer date for FET is 9/24. Hope this helps. GL.

I did ER 8/3 and was supposed to do a FET via a natural cycle next week. Cycle canceled and changed to medicated starting today on Provera for five days then wait for AF supposed to come sometimes within a week of stopping Provera then a day 3 US, start estrogen and anticipated FET third week of Ocotober.

my understand is it could be that your RE wants to give you a month to adjust back after all the STims-- I started my natural FET cycle right after Stims and we had to cancel because my ovulation is all out of whack after the stims. The other issue I was presented with is the clinics availability for you do do a FET cycle based on their scheduled. Maybe ask if it's either of these two thing?

Thanks @NicWalker10- sorry your cycle got canceled....I think waiting is the hardest part about this whole process (hence my plan to go all DIY in my house the next month or so:)). Good luck in October!!!!
