Please tell me that DH is totally off on this one. We had our first disagreement over anything baby related (nothing heated, we're mostly just exasperatedly laughing with each other) but I feel I need to stand firm on this one.
I sent him a link to the dresser I liked for the twins' nursery. We plan to put a changing pad on it and use it as our changing table. He looked at the specs and said that it's too short at 3'2" which is going to hurt our backs and that we should look for something that is 4'.
4'?!? Is that not incredibly high for a changing table? I'm 5'8" and DH is 5'11". I feel like we'd be reaching to change the babies. Am I wrong? Do you have any idea how high your changing table is?
I know this is a silly thing to post about but I'm flabbergasted over how convinced he is. Of course, he's never changed a diaper in his life so perhaps that's where we need to start...
Re: 4' tall changing table??
I was looking this up just a few weeks ago.... 36" is the average height!

This is hilarious!
I just whipped out my handy dandy tape measure out of my desk drawer. I'm 5'8" and a 4' high changing table would put the baby right about chest height. NOT conducive to changing a diaper. 3'2" however, would have the baby right about waist high + the changing pad and you will be just fine.
Just break out the tape measure when you get home and tell him he's way off on this one

Hahhaha. Thanks for the visual. Men don't always get it!
