I heard you can record the baby's heartbeat and have it put in a Build a Bear. I have never had a Build A Bear or know too much about them. Curious if you can do this and how?
I did this as a memorial to my son, at an ultrasound I recorded the hb on my phone, took it to build a bear and recorded it on their machine. Here's my blog about it:
I plan on doing a lullaby or having DH and I record "I love you, baby; sweet dreams". I love build a bear!
ETA: When you go to Build A Bear, you can put a sound in your animal (in the heart in the paw, in the ear-wherever you want). One of the options is to record your own. I don't know if you can just buy one of the recorder things and take it to your appointment with you, or if you need to record it on your own and bring it to the store and record it there. That would probably be a question to ask your store (they might have different policies?).

You can see the machine in my blog - its like a microphone that you play what you want into. They also have music and songs and stuff that you can use. I'm 99% sure you have to do it at the store because the machine puts it on the recording device that you put inside the bear. They said if I ever want to re-record it I can just bring it in and they'll pull the little thing out and we can re-record it...

I did something similar to this for my daughter. I was able to record womb sounds and put it in a bear (which she still loves to this day). I'll have to check out B-A-B's version of this. I'm thinking it would be an awesome gift to the LO from his/her big sister.

Of course the reason I did it was much different than many others, and I'd never heard of it before I did it. but many others have followed suit.
