Lucky number 7

Well, it finally happened in lucky cycle 7. I got my BFP this morning. I was prepared with three tests and all three had a light second line.

Last month DH and I were at a party where I talked to two of our friends about TTC. They both said it took them over a year with the first. My one friend said the best advice she got was to BD every day for 10 days after AF ended. She tried that and got pregnant right away. I couldn't help but take her advice...kind of. So DH and I got busy EOD from CD 5-25, used preseed for the first time, drank POM juice from CD 1 to O, and I tried to take the pressure off by not temping or visiting this board for this cycle.

DH also did his own research and started wearing boxers and taking zinc in hopes to increase his sperm count. How cute is that?

I bought some super cute gender neutral baby shoes to give to DH when he wakes up and wrapped them with the 3 positive tests.

Finally, thank you all for the motivation to stay positive and helping me realize that these things take time. I am a control freak so that was very hard for me to handle. It was so nice to have a place to go to talk (mostly stalk) about the ups and downs of TTC. Best of luck to all of you.
