Yeast infection diaper rash?

I think dd has a yeast infection diaper rash.  She was on antibiotics for strep throat for 5 days, so that's why I'm thinking it's a yeast infection.  We have some Nystatin cream and I just started putting it on her.  Has anyone else's LO had this and how long did it take to clear up?

    We did!  Ours was so bad though that they also gave us a steroid to use once a day.  I saw noticeable improvement within a day!  Hope it helps your lo.

    DD had a yeast rash a couple weeks ago.  I bought Monistat cream, applied generously once a day (in her bedtime diaper) and it was noticeably better after one day and completely gone by the 3rd day.

    Thanks, ladies!  I'm hoping that when I see her tonight there is some improvement.  She's also cutting her first two teeth so she is just miserable.  Poor baby girl!
