when do you plan on weaning from bottle?

my lactation consultant recommends that we switch from bottle to sippy cup as soon as possible. E doesn't know how to use a sippy cup yet but i didn't realize that the transition happens so soon. i guess it makes sense that once they know how to use a cup that there is no need for a bottle anymore.

It might be a UO but I was not planning on completely tossing out the bottle until 1 year. We will probably begin weaning around 10 months.

I'm not sure. B has no interest in any of the cups I've bought him. I've tried six different ones and he's just not a fan. I'd like to have him weaned mostly from the bottle by the time he's ten months.

Ever since he stopped going to daycare for the summer, little a only wants to breastfeed. He won't take bottles at all. He does take water from his sippy every now and then when I offer it, so I might have him weaned by 9-10 months.
